Fabian
Kleeberger
Chief Product & Growth Officer
Telus Health
Fabian Kleeberger works where product, growth, technology, and organizational complexity stop being separate topics and start becoming each other’s problems. Over the past 20 years, he has taken on product leadership at companies where growth had stalled or hit its ceiling, and rebuilt the operating model to unlock it. With a background in sociology, psychology, and data, Fabian brings an unusually systems-oriented lens to product leadership. He is probably the only product executive whose reference points include Niklas Luhmann, which may explain both his fascination with how organizations behave under pressure and his low tolerance for frameworks that sound elegant on a stage but would clearly collapse in a real company. Before moving into product leadership, Fabian worked in early childhood research, which might be the reason for his enduring interest in how people learn, how groups behave, and why “senior leadership” is not always as mature a category as it sounds. He is interested in how companies stay intelligent when growth, pressure, politics, and complexity start pulling in different directions.

Where not to use AI in product
Not every product problem needs AI. As the pressure to adopt AI grows, product teams face a different challenge: knowing when adding AI creates value—and when it adds cost, complexity and risk. Drawing on real-world experience, Fabian challenges the assumption that more AI is always better. Explore the situations where AI can undermine product quality, customer trust and decision-making, and learn how leading product teams decide where AI belongs—and where it doesn't. You'll learn how to: - Recognise where AI adds value—and where it doesn't. - Avoid common AI mistakes that damage user trust and product quality. - Make smarter product decisions by focusing AI where it has the greatest impact.
