Kara Gillis is Senior Director of Product Management developing Observability and AIOps solutions at Splunk for the past seven years, previously in product marketing and product partnerships. Before Splunk, Kara worked as a strategy consultant in a variety of industries, focusing on M&A, software implementations, and public policy and in startups. She has an MBA from Duke University and an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. Kara and her family are based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she enjoys traveling, playing racquet sports (pickleball and tennis), skiing, and enjoying wine country.
