From support function to force multiplier: AI in product operations
Product Operations has long been the connective tissue of product organisations, aligning teams, maintaining tooling, and keeping execution on track. But in an AI-first world, that role is fundamentally changing. This keynote explores how AI is transforming Product Ops from a coordination function into a strategic builder of execution systems. Rather than managing process and reporting on progress, modern Product Ops teams can design intelligent workflows, automate decision loops, and create real-time visibility that replaces meetings, reduces friction, and unlocks product velocity at scale. Through a practical case-study lens including examples inspired by high-growth environments like Uber, we’ll examine how AI can automate weekly rituals, triage risks in real time, and rebalance the tension between long-term product vision and the pressure to ship faster. If Product Ops is uniquely positioned to simplify organisational complexity, AI is the lever that turns that simplification into competitive advantage. This session is for leaders who don’t just want to optimise process but architect the future of product execution.
