At Catawiki, we use Generative AI to support both sellers and buyers, helping sellers tell better stories and list objects more easily, while helping buyers discover relevant items and make more confident purchase decisions. This talk shares how we identify high-impact use cases, build AI-powered features like automated descriptions and taxonomy suggestions, and evaluate them using a custom framework that simulates real usage and scores AI quality across key dimensions.
