Ibukun Akinnawo is Head of Product Operations at Flutterwave, where she led the launch of Passage, the company's automated client onboarding product. Her work sits at the centre of Flutterwave's enterprise growth: she redesigned the enterprise onboarding operating model, cutting it from 110+ days to 26, then automated it with Passage, bringing average onboarding time to 10 hours. She previously built a 100+ person customer operations organisation within the company. Across 11 years in fintech she has held senior roles at Paystack (acquired by Stripe), Kuda Bank, pawaPay and Smile Identity, after co-founding a virtual assistant company serving C-level executives in Nigeria, the UK and the US. She holds an MBA with Beta Gamma Sigma honours from IE Business School and is based in London.
