From cpo to founder: Career pivots, product leadership, and building what’s next
Product leadership rarely follows a straight line. In this keynote, Ellie Powers shares candid lessons from her own career transitions from Big Tech to leading product at small, mission-driven companies, and most recently from CPO to startup founder and CEO. With honesty, humor, and hard-earned perspective, Ellie explores what it really takes to navigate career pivots, embrace uncertainty, and reinvent yourself without losing momentum. Along the way, she connects these transitions to the evolving realities of modern product leadership, including how leaders can use AI prototyping tools to move faster and how strong partnerships with CTOs unlock execution velocity. Blending personal storytelling with practical takeaways, this session offers both inspiration and actionable insight for product leaders thinking about their next chapter or simply trying to lead more effectively where they are today.
