Sameer Gulati is a seasoned C-suite executive and board director with over 20 years of global experience across startups and public companies. Known for driving growth through innovation and bold strategic change, he currently serves as Chief Product Officer at ZenBusiness, where he has helped scale the company 3x. Under his leadership, ZenBusiness has evolved into a multi-product, Gen AI-powered platform that enables entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses with confidence. Previously, Sameer was President & COO at Plastiq, a B2B payments company, where he led product, revenue, and go-to-market teams. During the pandemic, he launched critical new offerings, expanded margins, and secured key partnerships with global card networks. At Lending Club (NYSE: LC), Sameer served as COO and Executive Committee member during a pivotal period. He helped stabilize the company after a leadership crisis, led the acquisition of a bank, and restructured the firm’s asset management arm. Earlier, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, advising financial institutions across the US, Europe, and Africa on digital transformation. Sameer holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an engineering degree from IIT Delhi. He is also a board member at CarIQ, an AI-driven automotive payments startup.
