Ashwin
Shankar
Senior Data Science Manager - Product Growth
Atlassian
Ashwin Shankar is a senior data science leader with 13+ years of experience across Atlassian, Meta, and Intuit. He currently leads Growth Data Science at Atlassian, where his teams partner with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market leaders to identify, prioritize, and validate durable growth opportunities across activation, expansion, monetization, and product strategy. Rather than serving as a traditional analytics function, his organization combines experimentation, causal inference, product analytics, and AI-assisted decision-making to help shape the product roadmap and measure business impact. Throughout his career, Ashwin has led initiatives spanning growth measurement, attribution, marketing effectiveness, and experimentation at scale. His current interests focus on how organizations can use analytical agents to augment decision-making without lowering the quality of evidence.
