The score takes care of itself: Growing product judgement when AI does the work
AI has made shipping faster than ever, but teams are getting worse at knowing what to ship. When AI handles the first drafts, the tickets and the small bugs, it also removes the everyday work where people build product judgment. In product-led companies, team growth is product strategy. When everyone has the same AI, the edge isn’t building faster. It’s having people who know what’s worth building. Fix the system instead of chasing the numbers. I also lay out four practices that keep skills growing while AI does more of the work. Attendees will leave with: - Why chasing output with AI leads to feature bloat, not better products - Four practices for keeping judgment sharp on AI-native teams - A scorecard that pairs each output metric with a growth metric
