Measuring adoption, quality & business impact
Most product teams can tell you how many people used a feature. Far fewer can tell you whether it actually worked, and fewer still can connect that to what the business cares about. This session tackles the gap between shipping and proving value. In 45 minutes, Rukmini will walk through a practical way of thinking about product success across three connected lenses: adoption (are people actually using it, and are the right people using it), quality (is it working the way it should, and where is it silently failing), and business impact (does any of this move a metric leadership actually tracks). Rather than treating these as separate dashboards, we'll look at how they inform each other, and where teams most often get the relationship wrong, chasing adoption numbers that mask quality problems, or optimizing quality in ways that never touch the business case. Aimed at product managers and product ops practitioners, this session is part working session, part discussion. Bring a product or feature you're currently trying to measure. You'll leave with a simple framework for connecting these three layers, and a sharper set of questions to ask before you trust your own metrics.
