Varun Gampa is a product leader with more than a decade of experience driving product strategy, payments innovation, and customer engagement solutions across Mastercard’s global platform ecosystem. Currently serving as Director of Product Development & Innovation at Mastercard, he leads growth initiatives for Mastercard Send, focusing on scalable payment experiences and next-generation financial products. Over the course of his career, Varun has built expertise across payments, loyalty technology, enterprise platforms, and product operations, with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex product launches and international expansion initiatives. His experience spans product management, technical program management, business analytics, and engineering, enabling him to bridge strategic vision with operational execution. Prior to his current role, Varun led product initiatives across Mastercard’s Offers Management and Loyalty Technology Solutions businesses, helping scale customer engagement platforms internationally while improving merchant experiences, onboarding, and platform capabilities. Earlier in his career, he held engineering and product roles at Aruba Networks, Firetide, and Angie’s List, building a strong technical foundation in enterprise technology and platform development.
