Previously, Steve served as Head of Product for Mentem, UNSW's enterprise upskilling and reskilling provider, where he helped drive the evolution of learning products that meet the changing needs of individuals and organisations. Passionate about customer-centric product development, Steve brings a practical approach to building products that create meaningful impact at scale.

Panel | Closing the feedback loop: From user signal to roadmap decision
Most product teams collect feedback. Far fewer turn it into a roadmap decision without losing the signal along the way, whether it gets buried in a backlog, diluted by the loudest stakeholder, or misread because the data was never validated against real user behavior. This panel brings together product leaders to talk through how they actually close that loop. Panelists will discuss: - How to separate genuine signal from noise across support tickets, sales calls, NPS, and usage data - How to decide which feedback earns a place on the roadmap versus a polite no - How to keep that decision-making process fast enough to matter without skipping the rigor that makes it trustworthy - Concrete examples of feedback that changed a roadmap, and just as importantly, feedback that didn't and why
