Personalisation at scale: Delivering 1:1 without breaking your architecture
Personalization is one of those words that means everything and nothing, depending on who you ask. For some teams it means showing a user's name in an email subject line. For the best product teams, it means an experience that adapts to each user's context, behavior, and goals in real time, at a scale that would have been technically impossible three years ago. This session is about the latter: what genuine personalization at scale actually requires and what it delivers. You'll get into the data infrastructure, the machine learning approaches, and the product design principles that make deep personalization work in practice. We'll also cover the failure modes, the moments when personalization tips into being intrusive, manipulative, or just plain wrong, and how to build the feedback loops that keep your model honest. This is a technical and strategic session for product leaders who are serious about making personalization a genuine competitive advantage.
