Mitesh Shah is a seasoned product leader with over a decade of experience driving AI and platform innovation at companies like PayPal, Block, Amazon, and Uber. He currently leads AI Personalization at PayPal, where he’s spearheading the Reimagine Commerce initiative—building APIs and decision engines that enable autonomous agents to deliver context-aware shopping experiences. Previously, Mitesh led Generative AI strategy at Block (Square), launching over 20 AI tools—including Square Copilot and Autowrite—to help small businesses automate operations, marketing, and commerce workflows. Earlier in his career, he helped scale Buy with Prime at Amazon, enabling DTC brands to offer Amazon’s checkout and fulfillment directly on their own sites. At Uber, he worked on ML-powered rider experiences and led platform integrations that expanded Uber’s footprint in regulated markets. Across these roles, Mitesh has focused on building products that combine technical depth with broad user impact. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual engineering degrees from IIT Bombay.
