Duncan Dragonetti is a senior product leader specialising in AI-powered products, personalisation, and large-scale consumer experiences. He is currently Head of Product for the AI Lab at The Economist, where he focuses on building next-generation AI products and embedding intelligent capabilities into editorial and product workflows. With over 15 years of experience across media and technology, Duncan has led high-impact product teams at Spotify, BBC, and Channel 4. His work has spanned discovery, personalisation, monetisation, and AI-driven user experiences, delivering products used by hundreds of millions of users globally. He has overseen multi-layered product organisations, managed senior product leaders, and guided large cross-functional teams from strategy through execution. His recent work centres on the intersection of UX and AI/ML, including LLM-enabled workflows and AI-first features, alongside earlier leadership in VOD and streaming platforms, including services for the British Film Institute. He is known for combining product strategy, experimentation, and creative thinking to turn emerging technology into practical, user-focused products.

AI workflow hackathon
A hands-on working session where attendees collaborate to build and share practical AI prompts, custom GPT setups, and workflow automations for real product tasks from research and analysis to personalization and reporting. Contributions are captured live in a shared prompt library, giving everyone a take-home toolkit of tested AI workflows they can start using immediately.
